Surface
Founded in 2008 in Saskatchewan, Canada, Surface Hair was created by salon owner and international stylist Wayne Grund, and built on a core belief: a healthy foundation—both personally and environmentally—is essential for sustainable growth
The name “Surface” reflects a deep passion for crafting natural, good-quality haircare—products that lay down a strong surface of success, supporting both salons and guests to flourish.
Surface’s culture revolves around education, guest care, and technical excellence; they consciously choose natural and organic ingredients, use sustainable packaging, and stay cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-, sulfate- and gluten-free Their product formulations are free of parabens, sulfates, heavy oils, phthalates, and other harmful additives—relying instead on natural cleansers, vegan proteins, botanical oils (like babassu, moringa, flax, and argan), sugars, and natural aromas and colorants.
Surface is dedicated to environmental and social responsibility: they’ve partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant over 88,000 trees, and with World Vision to support more than 50 children across six countries—providing food, water, education, shelter, and healthcare

Founded in 1991 by Barbara Salomone, one of the first-ever U.S. licensed estheticians, and considered to be the Architect of the Modern Facial. She shaped the skin care industry into what it is today, and created BioElements to target all skin types and concerns. BioElements continues to carry out her legacy with unparalleled education, innovation and iconic solutions.
BioElements blends the latest lab-developed actives—like peptides, vitamin C, and clinical-grade peels—with nature-derived botanicals such as fruit extracts, plant oils, and minerals. Their formulas are clean and mindful, excluding phthalates, parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, benzoyl peroxide, artificial fragrance, and dyes.
